Our History
Origin :
Buddhism is a religion that emerged in northern India more than 20 centuries (or 2 millennia) ago. Its name refers to the emblematic figure of Buddha, a preacher who founded a monastic community composed of monks and lay people.
BUDDHA means AWAKENING (the one who attains enlightenment) Prince SIDHARTA GAUTAMA is recognized as the first Buddha, hence the name "Historical Buddha"
Spread
Buddhism in its evolution has known several currents and forms throughout the Asian continent. It gradually reached other continents especially under the reforms of the teachings of our "Fundamental Buddha" NICHIREN DAISHONIN
Japan
In this dynamic of propagation, the esoteric aspect was highlighted after the Second World War in Japan by the Great Patriarch KIRIYAMA SEIYU, founder of AGON SHU. Agon shu emanates from the deciphering of the Buddha's parables.
